Spread the Word: You are Free to Be. This painting represents expressionism on its own canvas by showing a bird taking flight expressing its own ways by the colors flying behind its trail. This acrylic painting measures 36 x 60 and shows familiar methods of Jackson Pollock’s “drip” technique shown on the bird and behind it. Also positioned on the canvas are letter stencils blended into the acrylic paint and hole-punched paper placed into the buildings adding color to the city. “Every drop of color counts.”
